VOYCE BEAM is our dedicated youth board, bringing together a diverse group of young people from across Portsmouth who are passionate about creating change. BEAM exists to ensure that the voices, experiences, and ideas of ethnic minority young people are heard, valued, and embedded into the work we do.
This group plays a vital role in shaping how VOYCE supports diversity across the city. From influencing programmes and workshops to identifying gaps in opportunity, VOYCE BEAM helps us stay connected to the real experiences of young people and respond in ways that are meaningful and impactful.
Members of VOYCE BEAM collaborate, share lived experiences, and work collectively to explore how we can break down barriers, increase representation, and create more accessible pathways for ethnic minority young people. Their insight directly informs our approach, ensuring that inclusion is not just a value, but a practice.
