Through mentorship, workshops, and community programs, we connect real stories to real change, helping every young person build confidence, resilience, and opportunity, regardless of background or financial circumstance.

Portsmouth faces some of the highest youth crime rates in the Southeast, alongside ongoing challenges in education, employment, and training. Young people here need guidance, opportunity, and inspiration to reach their full potential. and that’s exactly what Next Gen delivers.

Politely Rebellious™️began as a statement. Founded in Portsmouth, it was built on the idea of self-expression, breaking barriers, and embracing individuality. With high-quality, consciously designed pieces, the brand quickly became a symbol of boldness, comfort, and style. More than just fashion, it built a community that celebrated authenticity and defied societal expectations.
As the brand grew, so did its mission. Politely Rebellious evolved into Politely Rebellious Next Gen CIC, expanding beyond clothing to create real change for young people. Now, the focus is on empowering the next generation through mentorship, workshops, and initiatives aimed at reducing youth crime and providing positive opportunities. While our core mission is now centred on youth empowerment, the clothing remains a way to support the movement, allowing people to wear the message while directly contributing to the cause.
MEET OUR FOUNDER
KESHIA STEWART
I founded Politely Rebellious because I know firsthand that refusing to accept limitations and challenging expectations can change lives. From an early age, I realised that growing up without direction or opportunities wasn’t the future I wanted. I had to carve my own path, one that embraced education, ambition, and new possibilities.
By politely and rebelliously pushing past the barriers placed on me as a girl from a council estate, I built a life filled with purpose, success, and impact. Now, through Politely Rebellious Next Gen, I’m dedicated to helping young people do the same. By offering mentorship, guidance, and real opportunities, we empower the next generation to rewrite their own stories and create futures they never thought possible.
